Where Are They Now - 1989:
Stories of past Softball World Series players.
|
My name is Jamie. I played on the Marysville, WA Little League team
in 1989 that came in 2nd against Naples, FL. I played outfield.
Being a part of the Little League World Series at age 12 still holds
the strongest memories from my childhood. I went on to play College
ball at Western Washington University and now coach at a local high
school. To this day, I still watch all the world series games and
let the memories flood back! I would like to thank all the host
families out there as the ones we stayed with in Kalamazoo, Michigan
(where the series was held in 89) were awesome! They kept us fed,
safe and supported us at every game. I now live only 2 hours away
from the World Series in Oregon and will get to some games within
the next few years!
